The Common Core State Standards emphasize the key role language-rich environments play in effective teaching and learning. Using the Common Core Standards as a point of departure, experts in the field will share multiple ways to create and support language growth in today's diverse environments. A panel of leaders and researchers, a keynote presentation, as well as workshops with experienced practitioners will inspire and engage you through hands-on activities and specific examples. Participants will take away concrete ideas for immediate implementation in their settings.
